Animal Rescue and Care
One Step at a Time
Our ultimate goal is to touch the lives of as many animals and people as we possibly can. There are 1.5 million shelter animals (information from ASPCA) that are euthanized annually. If we can change that result for even one animal, the work is worth it. In rescuing, we incur the cost of initial and ongoing veterinary care while animals are fostered (i.e. flea/tick treatment and prevention, fecal screening/parasite treatment, heartworm testing and treatment, spays/neuters, dental cleaning/extractions), grooming, food, and training if necessary. This care comes with a hefty price tag which is why we rely so heavily on donations, fundraising efforts, and the time of our volunteers. For more information, please reach out!
